GROUND // Stade Georges Petre - FC Saint Josse

This stadium was originally built for RCS Saint-Josse in loving memory of one of the biggest heroes and long time mayors of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode near Brussels, Georges Pètre.

The period before WWII RCS Saint-Josse often played in second and third division, but it all went downhill after WWII. The team never reached the higher divisions anymore and in 1988 the team merged with FC Arsenal Evere. In 2001 the team disappeard after merging with old Brussels legend Royal Uccle-Forestoise-Léopold FC. The same year FC Saint-Josse was founded and took its place in this stadium.
